Abstract: The overall comorbidity burden of patients supported on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation has increased significantly across years, and elevated Charlson Comorbidity Index were associated with adverse outcomes. We investigated whether age-adjusted CCI were associated with hospital readmissions among veno-venous ECMO survivors during 1-year follow up in Hong Kong.
