The Critical Care Research Group was established in 2004. Our aim then and now remains unchanged. We are committed to understanding the many issues that face critically ill patients by finding new or improved treatments for hard-to-treat diseases. This research aims to increase survival rates and improve the quality of life for patients with life-threatening conditions.
To do this, we need the best people. We are looking for the next generation of medical research professionals whose hard work, integrity and enthusiasm will help us help the patients of tomorrow.

Further information:
- The CCRG Fellowship is a nonremunerated position. Candidates will be supported in applying for funding through various grants programmes, however it is the responsibility of the Fellow to proactively seek funding to cover costs, including living and relocation costs, as required. 
- Fellowship applications are considered by our Senior Leadership Group on academic merit, in conjunction with the current vacancies and research priorities of the Group. 
- The recruitment process involves an interview with CCRG Director and Senior Leadership Team and demonstrated evidence of high-quality writing skills via systemic literature review or similar task. 
- The minimum term of a CCRG Fellowship is one year, although a two-year term is preferred. During this time the CCRG Fellow will work on the predetermined research project/s as identified during the recruitment process. 
- CCRG Fellowships are expected to have a minimum 40 hours of contact in the CCRG offices/labs at The Prince Charles Hospital per week.
