Neurological - Specific research area includes neuroimaging, brain autopsy, biomarkers, and cognitive outcomes. Read more.
Acute Kidney Injury - The COVID-Critical study is an excellent opportunity to determine the incidence and severity of COVID-induced AKI, the impact of renal dysfunction severity, critical care management (e.g. mechanical ventilation, fluids, nephrotoxic drugs), the extent of recovery of renal function, and outcomes from COVID-19 critical illness. Cardiac - Data will be collected retrospectively on cardiac comorbidities, cardiac complications during the hospital admission for COVID-19. Read more.
Coagulation Disorders - This subgroup will focus on physiologic changes in COVID patients related to hemostasis and how these factors are associated with bleeding and thrombotic complications in COVID 19 patients. Read more.
