Abstract: Pulmonary microvascular dysfunction is central to the pathophysiology of pulmonary hypertension (PH), yet remains challenging to evaluate in clinical practice. This review outlines current and emerging methodologies for assessing the pulmonary microcirculation, including advanced imaging, computational modelling, and invasive haemodynamic techniques.
